Electricity Law (1984) (amended in 1990)

Section 4: Board of ministry (Cabinet) shall allow the followings as electricity authority. (a) Government electrical power corporation or the organization descended from government electrical power corporation; (b) Factories, workshops, and all departments under respective ministry; (c) Registered co-operative organizations in accordance with the Co-operative Organization Act; (d) Registered private businesses in accordance with the Private Business Act; and (e) The other specific organizations.
